Operations Specialist, The Coury Firm



REPORTS TO

The Operations Specialist will report directly to the Director of Operations or their designee.

POSITION SUMMARY

The position of Operations Specialist will be focused on managing and maintaining the data integrity of the Firm’s investment-related technology and client management systems. This individual will play an integral role on our team, providing operational support to all team members and departments.

This role will be assigned to a variety of projects and given a broad range of responsibilities such as developing and documenting operational processes and procedures, investigating and resolving performance management discrepancies, partnering with external vendors and custodians to sustain efficiencies in data integrity and technology, generating reports, and providing support for technical data questions.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities and description of duties described below are not intended to be all inclusive:


·       Manage and maintain global data integrity of firm investment related technologies (CRM System, Document Management System, Investment/Financial Reporting Systems)

·       Reconcile, review, and manage firms daily download process of Portfolio Center Database (Securities, Transactions, Accounts) & Global Transaction Ledger ensuring accuracy of transactions, security/account attributes, classifications, and indexes

·       Investigate, research, and resolve performance measurement discrepancies involving appropriate resources to bring issues to resolution on performance, contribution, or attribution

·       Generate Ad-Hoc reports and respond to technical data questions regarding client accounts/ performance statistics

·       Proactively address client account issues, taking an analytical approach to the problem through identification, definition, and resolution

·       Align and partner with firm external vendors & custodians to sustain efficiencies for data integrity & technology, clearing & custody, process & servicing, and compliance

·       Identify process breakdowns and propose/develop policies and procedures to guide global firm operations and functionality as well as performing regular reviews to ensure process improvements

·       Reconcile valuation, track, and input transaction data from external fund administrators through provided client account statements across various private investments

·       Assist in the preparation/review of client quarterly reports and billing workflow processes to meet established deadlines

·       Assist with the day-to-day firm operations to ensure excellence and efficiencies in all systems, processes, and workflows

·       Partner with CCO/Compliance team to assist with monitoring of compliance program, helping ensure all regulatory policies and procedures are adhered to with appropriate operational processes & procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

The Operations Specialist must possess the following qualifications:


·      A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field

·      Preferred minimum one year of experience in related operations role

·      Possess strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities.

Senior Associate, Corporate & Business Advisory

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of Senior Associate for the Corporate & Business Advisory division will be focused on providing financial and business advice to the Firm’s clientele. This individual will play an integral role on our team, providing quantitative and analytical support for all sell-side and buy-side acquisition assignments, refinancing, recapitalization and restructuring assignments and be responsible for interacting and collaborating with the client and their respective advisors in the process.

This role will be assigned to a variety of projects and given a broad range of responsibilities such as developing and managing comprehensive financial models and analysis, creating client presentations, preparing for/attending client meetings, and performing in-depth company and industry research.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


The key responsibilities and description of duties described below are not intended to be all inclusive:

  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis for clients and prospective clients. Such analysis may include but is not limited to: Comparable Company Analysis (Public Comps), Precedent Transaction Analysis (M&A Comps), Discounted Cash Flow Analysis (DCF), Leverage Buyout / “Ability to Pay” Analysis (LBO), Merger & Acquisition Models, and different strategic alternatives and capital structure options;

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of Financial Analyst for the Corporate & Business Advisory division will be focused on providing financial analysis to support the Firm’s clientele. Senior Wealth Advisor. Private Wealth

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of Senior Wealth Advisor for The Coury Firm’s Private Wealth division (the “Firm”) will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing Private Wealth client relationships and leading in the development of new Private Wealth client relationships on behalf of the Firm. Duties include managing the delivery of wealth management and multi-family office services to our clients and serving as their principal point contact. This will involve maintaining regular communication with the client and working in consultation with the client’s other advisors.

In addition, this position will either oversee or work collaboratively with a group of Private Wealth client support personnel, including but not limited to Wealth Planners, Wealth Strategists, and Wealth Servicing Specialists to assist in the delivery of investment management, tax planning, comprehensive financial planning, risk management solutions, estate and succession planning, and other pertinent financial services. Please note, that the Firm and its affiliates do not provide tax or legal advice. Therefore, the Senior Wealth Advisor will be responsible for managing and collaborating with the client’s outside advisors to assist in delivering a comprehensive, holistic wealth plan for the client.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Senior Wealth Advisor of the Firm must possess the following qualifications:

  • Ten (10) or more years related experience, with a demonstrated depth and breadth of technical knowledge and expertise
  • CFP required; or Series 65 and Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation)
  • Experience working with private, high net-worth clients and/or institutional clients
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Highly developed problem-solving ability and a willingness to drive workflow

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of Senior Wealth Strategist will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for the Firm within key areas of technical significance for the Private Wealth division (e.g., tax, estate planning, trust/entity structuring, investments, insurance, etc). Duties include leading and advancing the Firm’s knowledge base, content, and client solution set within their respective area of expertise.

In addition, this position will either oversee or work collaboratively with a group of Private Wealth personnel, including but not limited to Wealth Advisors, Wealth Planners, and Wealth Servicing Specialists to assist in the delivery of investment management, tax planning, comprehensive financial planning, risk management solutions, estate and succession planning, and other pertinent financial services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Head of Marketing position at The Coury Firm will be responsible for leading and executing on the Firm's marketing, branding, and lead generation / sales initiatives.

This role will be responsible for building and driving strategic partnerships and marketing strategies that can produce new leads and revenue opportunities as well as brand awareness for the Firm. The Head of Marketing position will need to deeply understand the Firm’s culture and founding principles and represent the Firm’s service offerings and products in the marketplace.

This position will also be responsible for organizing the Firm’s conferences and events, leading public relations efforts, managing media (including social media) and communication channels, and exploring and identifying new business opportunities across all products and services.

The position of Wealth Planner for The Coury Firm’s Private Wealth division (the “Firm”) will be responsible for directly supporting the Firm’s Wealth Advisors on all aspects of a client relationship. Duties include helping coordinate and drive the delivery of wealth management and multi-family office services to our clients and serving as the Wealth Advisor’s primary internal resource for workflow management and execution. This will involve maintaining regular communication with the Firm’s Wealth Advisors, clients, and any outside advisors.

This position will require working collaboratively with a group of Private Wealth personnel, including but not limited to Wealth Advisors, Wealth Strategists, Wealth Servicing Specialists, and Senior Management to assist in the delivery of investment management, tax planning, comprehensive financial planning, risk management solutions, estate and succession planning, and other pertinent financial services.

POSITION SUMMARY

The position of Wealth Servicing Specialist for The Coury Firm’s Private Wealth division (the “Firm”) is a core member of the Wealth team. The Wealth Servicing Specialist will be responsible for directly supporting the Firm’s Wealth Advisors on all aspects of client administration to ensure accurate and timely execution of client service-related matters. Key duties include account servicing, money movements and cashiering functions, data review and reconciliation, reporting, custodial and counterparty coordination, and general assistance with the Firm’s operational processes, procedures, and internal/external communication.

This position will need to work collaboratively with a group of Private Wealth personnel, including but not limited to Wealth Advisors, Wealth Planners, Wealth Strategists, other Wealth Servicing Specialists, and Senior Management to assist in the delivery of investment management, tax planning, comprehensive financial planning, risk management solutions, estate and succession planning, and other pertinent financial services.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A Wealth Servicing Specialist at the Firm must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, with two or more years related experience
  • Series 65 or 66
  • Knowledge of industry rules and regulations; Schwab or other custodial platform experience is preferred
